Recently
the Michigan Industrial Hygiene Society Board of Directors
voted to grant Life and Honorary Membership to several long
term members of our local section.
The MIHS
Bylaws state that Life Membership may be conferred on persons
who have been members of the Michigan Section for at least
10 years, and who have retired from full time employment or
active practice. It has been some time since our local section
has made these awards so the MIHS Board is pleased to make
Life Membership to the following MIHS members:
Patricia
Brogan, PhD
Conrad Fedoronko
Emanuel Ferruzzi
Richard Garrison, PhD
Donald Hart, PhD
William Krebs, PhD
Steve Levine, PhD
Henry Lick, PhD
Joseph Medved
Richard Olson
Patricia Taylor
Honorary
Membership may be given to persons of recognized eminence
and having made significant contributions to the disciplines
of industrial hygiene and to the Michigan Section. The MIHS
Board is particularly pleased to award Life Membership to
the following MIHS members:
William
Cleary
Leonard Jensen, PhD
Gerald Sattelmeier
Life and
Honorary members are entitled to all privileges of membership
except those of voting and participating in the administration
of the section, and shall be exempt from paying section dues.
Life and Honorary Members may retain all of their section
privileges by paying their section dues.
The MIHS
Board as well as the entire membership wishes all Life and
Honorary members well and hope that they will continue active
participation in Local Section activities.
